I tried painting with oils for the first time last weekend.. wish I used them in college, so much nicer than acrylic paint. Don't really know what I'm doing, just having fun with it atm. The picture's of my friend explaining how to tell which is your strongest eye :)

New ninjas

These ninjas were drawn for the instruction/loading screen in our game Ninja Flood Fight. They have been passed onto John who will paint them up nicely (this is also how we drew the ninjas on the front splashscreen).

Creeping chair

Dancing skeleton

There's a ghost been doing some bad dancing in my loft...
..legs made with homemade 'blue' screen (red bed sheet), skeleton modelled in Silo. The animation is pretty awful but I mostly made this for fun and to try out comping in After Effects.

'Colors' paintings

Some doodles made on my Nintendo DS using the homebrew app 'Colors':

I watched the Popeye movie the other week (the one from 1980 starring Robin Williams). I love the chunky, cartoon art direction (see Olive Oyl's boots and Popeye's massive forearms). Also it's worth seeing just for this lovely sequence alone. The drawing was from memory so doesn't really look much like Shelley Duvall.. just an idea of Olive.

This one I started the other night when I was stuck in tube delays.

And this one I've had for ages but just never got round to putting anywhere.

Lip-syncing animation

Here is a lip-sync animation I put together recently. I did not make the original girl model, although I did model her morph targets. The dialogue is borrowed from Disney's Tarzan.

Here's some in-game footage of these critters I made for Beatnik Games. I used a homebrew animation app on my Nintendo DS called 'Animanatee' to plan out the tail motions.

Looping villager animations

A couple of animations for Beatnik Games- they are villager NPCs. I've done several idle animations, the others are less interesting to watch (people sitting around, milling about, not really doing that much).
I did not make the man! (although I did make the props)

Here is an oversized lab rat I made for Beatnik Games. I made him in about 3/4 days from start to finish. He also has a few other textures showing varying levels of dirtyness.
